The role

Spanning analysis and data journalism, the role will see you help launch a new product covering the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency, digital currency and blockchain-related payments space. This is not a role looking at crypto trading or NFTs – instead it will focus on crypto payments, covering areas such as stablecoins and retail-focused blockchains.

Writing for a B2B audience, you’ll apply an informed but neutral eye to the space, identifying key trends in the area, explaining developments to the uninitiated and using data to unearth the facts behind the industry’s claims. A skeptical eye and a close attention to detail are vital – as is the ability to write clear, clean copy.

Reporting directly to the Head of Content, you’ll be helping to conceive and grow a new product from a company that already leads in the cross-border payments content space. You’ll produce both analysis and data-led pieces for our newsletters and wider content, including unique articles, in-depth reports and interviews.

What we’re looking for

• At least three years of experience in a professional writing role, either as a journalist, analyst or related position

• Extensive experience writing about cryptocurrency – this has been your primary beat for several years

• Experience writing for a B2B audience

• Experience analysing, engaging with and incorporating data into written work

• Demonstrably strong written business english

• Ability to work quickly to a high standard

• A strong attention to detail

• The ability to work independently but also collaboratively as required
