The Role:

Joining our Data team, you will participate in exciting and unique primary data collection projects for a host of household name clients in the Global Payments sector. Working in a friendly and collaborative environment, you will help us to derive insights from collected data, improve our processes and tools, and automate data quality control. As our company scales up, there is plenty of room for professional growth and expanding your role in the directions you want to explore in the future.

Our team is growing its Tableau expertise, constantly training analysts, updating dashboards and integrating our Tableau services with other internal tools. You have a chance to join us as one of the first specialized Tableau consultants, building yourself up for a senior role in the Data team. You will also have a chance to collaborate widely with our Pricing product developers and an awesome Content team, putting your name under data vizualizations available to thousands of high-profile clients through our newsletter and portal.

What you will be doing:

- You will be working on transforming and extending our collection of Tableau workbooks intended for external clients and internal usage.

- You will apply User-centric design principles to building workbooks, data stories and dashboards for maximal impact and ease of use.

- You will engineer data visualizations and interactive dashboards that exist in a wider ecosystem of FXC software, including internal data management apps, online portals and APIs.


What We’re Looking For:

Personality: You are a confident and approachable person willing to share and document your solutions. We are looking for a creative data visualization professional with a strong understanding of statistics and common-sense data handling techniques. You would have an independent mindset and be able to provide robust feedback to suggested features/ideas.

Essential:

- Minimum 3 years of Tableau development experience. Either certification or a portfolio are highly desirable.

- Data Engineering skills with an experience in at least one of data query languages - either SQL or NoSQL are accepted (MongoDB, Postgres, ClickHouse or analogous).

- Strong understanding of UI/UX and data visualization design principles.

- Excellent written communication skills, particularly in documentation writing, product feature descriptions and user instructions.

Desirable:

- Experience of working in a Product-led environment.

- Working in an Agile team environment.

- Self-starting and proactive attitude, ability to research solutions and come up with ideas.

- Working knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics. Familiarity with statistical modeling and ML principles.
