Role: Senior Automation Test Lead

Team size: 3-6 QA Testers

Hourly rate: $40 per hour

Location: Fully remote

Who is FXC: Scale-up fintech company with 65 employees across the UK, Eastern Europe and the US. We expect to have 100 employees by the end of 2023.

We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Lead to help drive and shape the QA Team, whilst being responsible for 3-6 QA Testers.

The role of Senior Automation Test Lead:

• You’ll take the lead for project test requirements

• You will help to improve the testing process, which includes how we track our testing KPIs

• Identify testing requirements and create and execute acceptance tests

• Investigating and reproducing complex and technically challenging defects, as well as testing fixes

• Running and creating automation test scripts

• Providing support and guidance to your team while operating in an Agile environment

• Collaborating with colleagues to resolve engineering problems and defects

• Supporting & mentoring more junior colleagues, including reviewing code

What we’re looking for

• At least 5 years of testing experience

• At least 1 year of experience leading testing projects and mentoring junior engineers

• Experience with all elements of the software testing lifecycle

• Automation frameworks and scriptwriting experience, Python/pytest

• Database testing experience, including data integration/ETL

• Good understanding of data quality, how to track and measure it

• JavaScript and Jest experience is desirable, but not essential

• Good level of English, both written and verbal
