London – Flexible Hybrid
We are looking for a talented and driven Data Analyst/Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work alongside Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Software Developers and QA Engineers in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will play a critical role in designing, building and maintaining data pipelines; ensuring the accuracy and quality of data deliveries; and deriving actionable insights from complex datasets to support business decisions.
What you’ll be working on:

LLM and data validation: Perform manual checks of large language model (LLM) performance and implement data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity
Performance monitoring: Monitor pipeline extraction performance, ensuring accuracy and high-quality data deliveries to clients
Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Data Engineers and business teams to translate findings into actionable product enhancements and reports
Reporting and dashboards: Design and maintain dashboards, reports and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making
Exploratory analysis: Lead exploratory and predictive data analyses to uncover trends, patterns and business opportunities
The Global Indices and Cards Team at FXC Intelligence is a diverse group of 10 professionals, including Product and Project Managers, Analysts and Data Specialists.
This team drives FXC Intelligence’s mission to provide critical data that shapes cross-border payment decisions at the highest levels of international policy and trade. Through our global indices products, we support leading financial organisations such as the Financial Stability Board (FSB) and the World Bank, delivering essential benchmarks that inform policy and decision-making worldwide.
Additionally, the team oversees the “Cards” datasets, which capture FX and cross-border pricing data for card programs globally. By gathering detailed information on pricing structures for card issuers—including banks and payment companies—we offer comprehensive insights into the cards market across various regions.
You should apply if you have:
2+ years experience in a Data Analyst/Data Scientist role (we are considering all levels)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
Advanced skills in Python and SQL for efficient data analysis and pipeline management
Proficiency in relational databases, data modelling and designing efficient data structures
Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Metabase, QuickSight)
Familiarity with statistical methods and predictive modelling techniques
Proven experience with collaboration tools, issue tracking systems and Agile methodologies, including version control using Git
Strong ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences
These skills will help, but aren’t essential:
Experience with Airflow for managing ETL/ELT workflows
Experience with data technologies (SQL) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)
Familiarity with cross-border payments, economic datasets or fintech data is highly desirable
