Mental Health Awareness Week
As a company that is invested in the wellbeing of our employees, we believe it's crucial to shine a spotlight on mental health.
In today's fast-paced world, where the lines between work and personal life can blur, fostering a supportive environment is paramount. This week, we're not just raising awareness, we're reaffirming our commitment to mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
Creating a supportive culture
At FXC Intelligence, we acknowledge and understand that mental health is just as important as physical health.
- We emphasise and promote a flexible work environment to cater to our employee’s specific needs
- We have several touchpoints throughout the year, around onboarding, coaching, training, road mapping and monthly socials where we celebrate the team
- Individual opportunities, with freedom for personal development, are at the forefront of our minds as we continue to innovate and progress
Promoting work-life balance
Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is crucial for the mental wellbeing of our employees. Our flexible arrangements with hybrid working and our off-shore policy ensures that our team can work where they work best.
Whether it is lunchtime dog walks, time away from screens reading a book or a walk and talk meeting, we encourage all staff to take time for themselves.
Employee recognition
At FXC, we understand the importance of celebrating our employees.
From shout-outs via our people enablement platform, mentions in our company-wide call and thank-you messages amongst the team, we strive to ensure that our employees feel valued for their continued contributions.
We like to celebrate outstanding work, so for employees of the quarter, we send out gift vouchers as a token of appreciation.
Taking action
Mental Health Awareness Week is not just about raising awareness, it’s about taking action.
Throughout this week, we'll be hosting various events and activities aimed at promoting mental health and wellbeing. From wellness workshops to our ‘take a break’ initiative, there's something for everyone to participate in and learn from.
The theme this year is ‘Movement’, and we have encouraged our employees to get out and about, go to the gym during the day or to take a walk.
Mental Health matters every day, but this week is about raising awareness amongst colleagues and fostering a culture of understanding, support and compassion.
