The People Team at FXC Intelligence
Hi! We are the People Team at FXC Intelligence and, as the name suggests, we focus on everything to do with our people! Our main goals are to attract top talent; ensure every candidate who goes through our processes has a great experience; creating a fun and friendly culture where people enjoy coming to work; and supporting and developing our people to help them achieve their ambitions.
Amanda Nuttall - VP People
Who is ‘Amanda’ at FXC?
I am VP People at FXC. The People team is collectively responsible for hiring world-class talent, creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where individuality is celebrated and helping to create an environment where everyone thrives and feels valued. As the VP of People, my days are a dynamic mix of activities.
Currently, I'm involved in developing and implementing training programs that not only enhance skills but also align with our cultural fabric, fostering a continuous learning environment. I'm also strategising ways to bolster employee engagement, whether through new development programs or refining existing ones. Additionally, I'm constantly refining our HR strategies to keep pace with industry changes and compliance requirements. It's a role that demands versatility, where each day presents new challenges to shape a thriving, engaged workplace.
What do you do outside of your 9-5?
I'm an exercise junkie at heart. You'll often find me on the Wattbike, fully immersed in HR podcasts, or diving into Les Mills Bodypump classes right at home. It's my way of staying informed and energised in the HR world while breaking a sweat. I have two wonderful (cheeky) kids who keep me busy and bring out my inner child.
If you were to host a dinner party and could invite two guests, dead or alive – who would it be?
Michelle Obama – she brings incredible insights on leadership, social issues and empowerment.
Patty McCord (ex-Chief Talent Officer at Netflix) – I like her candid, straightforward approach and her unique perspective on workplace culture and would like to find out more about her ideas.
Klea Paja - HR Generalist
Who is ‘Klea’ at FXC?
I am the HR Generalist at FXC. My role is integral to the smooth functioning of the company and its processes. My role involves ensuring a positive employee life cycle; communicating and documenting HR correspondence; generating and analysing HR metrics; and assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ultimately, my aim is to increase employee engagement by acting as a liaison between employees and the company.
What do you do outside of your 9-5?
I enjoy travelling, keeping active, watching football, listening to music and making memories with my family and friends.
If you were to host a dinner party and could invite two guests, dead or alive - who would it be?
This is a very hard question, I might have to pick 3.
Stephen Hawking – His theories on the origins and nature of the universe revolutionised modern physics.
David Attenborough – I love his programmes and would love to hear about his experiences.
Martin Ødegaard – Captain of Arsenal football club. Hopefully, the other two are Arsenal supporters.
Charlotte Meek – Talent Acquisition Partner
Who is “Charlotte” at FXC?
I joined FXC Intelligence in May 2023 as a Talent Acquisition Partner. I am responsible for ensuring that we hire top talent to join the company, from sourcing candidates to interviewing and managing the process through to their start date. In addition to these responsibilities, I’m responsible for the DEI initiatives within the business, which include running and analysing our annual DEI survey as well as starting up our employee resource groups, such as Women in FinTech and LGBTQIA+ Employee Network.
What do you do outside your 9-5?
I have two lovely dogs, Dave and Steve, who take up a lot of my time and every now and then make an appearance at my meetings! I also love music, playing three instruments and regularly attending gigs.
If you were to host a dinner party and could invite two guests, dead or alive - who would it be?
Following on from my passion for music, I would have to say Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters and Nirvana, and Hayley Williams from Paramore. They’ve been a massive part of my life for the past 15+ years!
